The elected members of the Young Republicans of Bexar County spent the day, Friday, May 6th, visiting local elected Republicans and various conservative groups at the Texas State Capitol. We watched as legislation was debated, passed and rejected in the Texas State House of Representatives. What became clear to us was that we MUST become involved now. The victories of the 2010 cycle are quickly being overshadowed by upcoming elections and ever decisive politics. We watched legislative debate that ended up needing a "call of the house" as the threat of Democrat party member walk out loomed. We need your help! Our elected officials need our help. Join us today or if already a member get active in YOUR Young Republican club. Activities range from social hours, monthly meetings, to helping at fundraisers or service projects in the community. Your talents, skills and input is needed to make your YR club the best in the state.
